Keith Walsh

Keith is responsible for leading the MeterXpert team.

A founding member of MeterXpert Keith has worked in metering and smart metering for the last 15 years.

With vast experience in fiscal and non-fiscal metering Keith understands industry processes and procedures. At MeterXpert Keith is responsible for developing new business relationships and has a lot of experience tendering for large and small projects. He is passionate about technology and has delivered smart metering platforms used by small and large organisations.

Starting his career in IT in a variety of technical roles, Keith has created and led organisations and is a keen entrepreneur.

Ian Black

Ian is responsible for leading the operations at MeterXpert Ltd.

Joining MeterXpert at its inception, Ian brings a wealth of experience in Smart Metering to all utilities across the sub-metering sector. Responsible for overseeing site installations, maintenance and support as part of MeterXpert’s ongoing service offerings he is also instrumental in design topologies to meet our customers demands.

Before joining MeterXpert, Ian has served in management and operations roles to energy services companies and electrical and mechanical building services contractors. In his previous roles he has built technical teams enabling the design and installation of metering systems with a strong emphasis towards project delivery, reliable data collection, and integration of differing technologies to bring together site sub-metering solutions. Ian has a near 35 years of experience in the M&E building services sector, is a qualified electrical engineer and holds the latest current electrical certifications.

David Cash

David is responsible for leading MeterXpert Ltd.’s advancements in software and technology.

As a co-founder, David brings a portfolio of experience within the software industry. Focusing on developing our ever-growing platform of bespoke services and tools to give our customers leading edge performance and features.

Before MeterXpert, David has worked for several blue-chip companies, developing embedded software for bespoke control systems used worldwide in the defence industry. He also brings many years of experience in security infrastructure and software.

David brings 24 years of experience in system infrastructure, software and electronics.

David Williams

David brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to MeterXpert Ltd with over 20 years in the metering industry.

David joined MeterXpert as lead engineer and is responsible for the on-site works, from surveys, installation, commissioning and maintenance to project completion.

Before joining MeterXpert, David has worked in installation and management roles for a range of clients including larger corporate companies. Understanding the customers expectations and requirements, he has designed and installed bespoke systems to record, monitor and provide valid data to allow energy analysis and integration to billing platforms.

David has been a fully qualified electrical engineer for 30 years and carries the latest certifications.
